Jan. 29 – We’re Here!

After 2 days of travel we met up with half the group.  Customs went smoothly, all the bags arrived and no flight delays.  Now the exciting part of the trip starts!  32 of us are jumping on an Ecuadorian Military Plane and the film crew gets to bring the equipment and the doctors will transport their medicine by truck.

We will film the plane ride and hope that we don’t get our hands slapped later.  Steven Pap, one of the original Hands Across The World surgeons, will be speaking at a ceremony (obviously he speaks Spanish for most of us!) and the rest of the team is so excited for us to get their story out to the world! We are too!

Hi Mom!  (Not that you’d read my blog but I figure if I add you in this blog, Robert will pass on to you by telephone that we are safe and sound.)

Luck is on our side already….I got upgraded on my hotel room 🙂

Here’s my only photo for now but the gory details will follow . . .
