When the Hands Across The World team arrives at the clinic, there are 300 or 400 people there, clapping and screaming. It cannot be described. You have to be there, you have to see, you have to touch the experience with your hands to know what it’s like. They work 18 hour days never wanting to turn away a patient. The team is so tired they could sleep standing up with just someone or something to lean on, but no one slows down.
In just 45 minutes, this team can change a life, giving that person, the family, and the community a more promising future. Volunteers from grass roots organization are empowering their patients and transforming lives.
Pure Medicine: Beyond The Mission is a documentary that goes beyond the surgery room, and tells the story of healing and humanity through emotional interviews.
